Ancora speculazioni, ma per una buona volta ottimiste. L’impostazione dell’articolo tuttavia è parecchio strana, non ci sono riferimenti a fonti precise ma ciò nonostante l’articolo ha tutta l’aria di basarsi su dati sicuri, tanto che l’aspetto giornalistico della vicenda è forse più interessante del contenuto dell’articolo stesso.
A noi italiani potrà sembrare ormai molto strano ma il controllo e l’accuratezza dei fatti fanno ancora parte della prassi ineludibile per il giornalista americano di livello. Se il Wall Street Journal si permette di fare affermazioni così importanti significa che dietro quell’articolo c’è di sicuro qualche certezza, o perlomeno fonti davvero solide.
Ma quanto solide? Se lo chiede anche John Gruber, notando che il pezzo del Journal manca di frasi di circostanza tipiche in questi casi quali “secondo persone vicine a Steve Jobs“, “secondo il parere di persone informate sui fatti”, e via discorrendo.
E’ una situazione anomala che fa pensare ad una fonte particolarmente forte, forse qualcuno che è davvero a conoscenza dei fatti sulla salute di Steve Jobs, o addirittura una fonte interna ad Apple che ha contribuito a far sganciare la bomba con il giusto tempismo in cambio del completo anonimato sulla “source”. Del resto l’articolo è tutt’altro che pessimista: Jobs starebbe già bene e sarebbe pronto a tornare come previsto per la fine di giugno.
Il solito Gruber però non è convinto della tempistica. Al WWDC ha avuto modo di chiacchierare con vari dipendenti Apple che gli hanno confermato la presenza di Steve al campus nei giorni precedenti, vale a dire circa un paio di settimane fa (ve lo avevamo detto pure noi citando SetteB.IT, ma questa è un’altra storia). Ripresa ultrarapida o il Journal ha sbagliato i tempi?

i giornalisti l’unico motivo che hanno per scrivere un articolo del genere sono i soldi. Se fosse in Italia, le fonti certe o meno certe sarebbero pubblicate comunque e non so invece come funziona in America… ;-)

sinceramente? vorrei più che altro che fosse steve jobs a parlare della salute e non un giornalista addirittura prima di lui. sono molto contento del fatto che almeno in questa occasione non si siano scagliati contro per dire qualche fesseria e sono molto contento anche del fatto che se tutto questo fosse vero steve starebbe meglio e questa è una buona cosa.
la privacy dovrebbe essere un diritto a cui possano fare appello anche le persone famose o di un certo livello, purtroppo non è così.
